Subtle St. Patrick's Day Makeup

I've been in such a neutral rut with makeup lately and since St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, why not paint my face green! Well, a small portion that is. This is something easy to wear without looking tacky especially if you plan on wearing a lot of green clothing. I didn't want to make it complicated so I just used some colors from my Shady Lady Palettes. I threw this look on real quick because I have a cold so please excuse the lack of pictures and sloppiness! Hope you like it!

Adele Grammy performance inspired makeup

Hey lovelies! Did any of you catch the Grammy awards on Sunday? I thought Adele rocked the stage. I'm a big fan of Adele as she is nothing short of pure talent and she is gorgeous!

Ive been seeing all these tutorials pop up for Adele's red caret makeup but the makeup she wore during her performance for Rolling In The Deep stood out to me more. Probably because I'm used to smokey eyes and a softer lip. From what I interpreted, it looked like she was wearing a peachy/pink color on her lips. For her eyes it looked like she wore a cream color on lid, soft black on the outer corner and a taupe-ish/brown shadow for her crease. She also had some serious contouring below her cheek bones and from the looks of the pictures and videos, it seemed like she wasn't wearing any blush.

I used the Naked 2 Palette for this look. I know it won't look exactly the same since I don't have a defined crease but here's my take on it. Hope you enjoy!

Valentine's Day Look 1: Tickled Pink

Hey everyone! I haven't posted any looks lately cause my eczema has been acting up on my left eye and is just barely clearing up. There's still a small lil patch lingering but i wanted to get this started. I decided to do a few looks that you can wear for Valentine's day or any day actually.

When I think of Valentines day, the color pink or red comes to mind. So for the first look, I chose to go with a soft pink look all around. Something sweet and feminine, Nothing too dramatic except for the lashes but even then Ive worn lashes more intense then the ones I'm wearing here.

L'oreal Lash Boosting Serum so far

Several weeks ago I picked up L'oreals Lash Boosting serum since it was on sale. I thought why not give it a try. I've seen some reviews for it and most of them happened to agree with less fall out and somewhat longer/thicker lashes.

As far as less fall out is concerned, I do agree with that. I noticed that I didn't really have any lashes coming out as I removed my eye makeup and when it did, it would be 1 or 2 lashes each week compared to every other day before using the serum. Now for the length & thickness, I'm not sure about it at the moment.  I've been using it for almost 4 weeks every night except for maybe 2 nights that I forgot.   I'll let you guys decide and tell me if you notice any growth/thickenss with my lashes. You can click on the pictures to make it bigger.

To my naked eye, I don't notice much change. What do you guys think?
